Archaeological heritage sites are non-standard real estate objects bearing unique information on the regional features of civilizational development. Undoubtedly, their preservation for future generations is the key to forming their national self-awareness and identity, but integrating these sites and related territories into economic activity is no less important. Employment of archaeological heritage sites within the region`s field of investment activity can be considered one of the elements of sustainable development of the entity. The method for assessing the area with archaeological sites proposed by the authors in this article enabled the identification of six municipal districts in the south of the Tyumen oblast, RF with the highest historical and cultural potential. The proposed assessment will facilitate the development of a database of archaeological heritage sites, which can be incorporated into the National Spatial Data System, complement their information field and expand the range of opportunities for their safe use and integration into the investment sector of the region
