Abstract:

In article the technique of detection changes of objects of various type on space pictures occurring at different times is considered at monitoring of territories. The method is based on Wavelet -analysis use at processing of pictures acquired at different times for fast change detection sites of territory. Researches were carried out on space images IKONOS, QuickBird and SPOT-5. As a result of experimental works it has been established that the Wavelet -analysis allows to reveal quickly sites on which there were changes. For pictures of large forests deforestation are unequivocally localised and besides the analysis of Wavelet -factors allows to define density of wood.
