This is the article written by Malkhazova S. M., Kotova T.V.., Orlov D. S., Shartova N. V., Maslennikova V. V. «The medicogeographical atlas of Russia «Natural-foci (zoonotic) diseases». The Atlas of Russia «Natural-foci (zoonotic) diseases» integrates diverse and multifaceted information with the aim to present a spatial pattern of zoonotic diseases spreading within the RF territory. The concept of the Atlas, i.e. its scientific basis, aims and methodological approaches, its content and mapping procedures, is described. On the example of separate maps some approaches to displaying the planned subjects are shown.
