Abstract:
Forming of true information estimate of satellite images is an important task of space remote sensing. There are several methods for quantitative estimation of information content of satellite remote sensing images. The model of joint information is based on presence of information estimates concerning the object existing in satellite image. The entropy model is based on information estimate taking into account the capability to get and storage the satellite images. The question on assessment of effect of spatial resolution and sizes of researched object on accuracy of objects identification present in the texture type images is to be solved on the bases of quantitative estimate of images information content by way of determination of classification accuracy and interrelation of information content and spatial resolution. The task of optimization of information gathering from images of real texture type scenes, containing the set of object of different size is formulated and solved. It is shown, that the optimum regime of functioning of system of information gathering from texture type images of remote sensing is provided upon organization of adaptive regime of system functioning. The algorithms of functioning and the chart diagram of adaptive system of information gathering are developed.
