Abstract:
This article is devoted to automated remote sensing data processing, which becomes highly demanded due to the rapid increase of high resolution satellite imagery. The article provides a step by step description of large amount of data multiprocessing within IMAGE MEDIA CENTER software suite. Materials obtained from Russian spacecrafts such as Canopus-V and Resurs-P are used as an input data. Examples of raw data and results of automated preliminary processing are also reviewed in the article along with the various methods of remote sensing data thematic processing and the areas of their application.
