Markuze Yury Isidorovich was born on November 16, 1935 in Moscow. In 1953 I left secondary school. From 1953 to 1958 I studied in МИИГАиК at faculty Engineering geodesy. Upon termination of institute I worked on distribution at a factory in Geotechnical office (nowadays PNIIS) as the engineer, the senior engineer and the chief of party, at field works in are registered in the regisIt conducts big pedagogical work. Gives lectures, the theory of mathematical processing of geodetic measurements, bases of leveling calculations, research work for students of resident and evening instruction conducts a practical training on disciplines.

 

His scientific achievements consist first of all in development of the theory of a recurrent method of adjustment and its application to adjustment of all types of geodetic networks with possibility of control of gross blunders of measurements and basic data. Especially it should be noted algorithms of association of satellite and land geodetic networks, an analysis algorithm of high-rise and planned deformations with the consecutive association of cycles considerably increasing the accuracy of results. He is also necessary to call new algorithm of adjustment of free geodetic networks with temporary fixing of necessary unknown. Considerable interest is represented also by the theory of the general way of adjustment in which all known ways turn out only on the basis of a parametrical way, and also development of a way of a mobile triangle for adjastment of extensive geodetic networks of any kind which significantly saves the volume of random access memory of the personal computer and some other new effective development.

 

His total its theoretical development received practical application. So it developed "A package of computer programs for mathematical processing of land and satellite geodetic measurements" which allows to solve practically everything the algorithms stated above. In 1963 I came at first in correspondence, and then to full-time postgraduate study. To Yu.I. Markuza repeatedly I acted with lectures and scientific reports in Vietnam, Israel, Germany, China and the USA. Is honourable professor the Druze of universities of the People's Republic of China, directs foreign graduate students. It prepared more than 80 reports at scientific conferences of students and graduate students.
