Abstract: Inconsistency and inconformity of geospatial and especially space-temporal data are major factors leading to the lack of integrity and interoperability of information systems and significantly reduce the efficiency of data management systems. There is a number of attempts to solve the problem within GIS framework. The authors analyze the potential to solve this problem of MAKOCI system based on new ontology. Two complementary approaches for solving the problem of inconsistency and inconformity are discussed.
